Categories/Entries

Blog Postings 

This block can portray up to 3 total Blog Postings, either chosen by the page creator or generated by the categories applied to the blog (ex: training, business insight, etc.). If generated by the categories, it will display the 3 most recent blogs tagged with the selected category. If neither option is picked, this block will automatically load the 3 most recent blogs, in general. 

Call to Action

CTA is built as a separate entry in the backend. Title, copy, image, and link can be adjusted as needed.

Collection

Generated based on the tag applied to PDPs. These are also visible on the PDPs as the collection of swatch images below the "View in Space" or "Customize" button (ex: Marble, Terrazzo, Hybrid Stone, Mosaic)

Flooring Products Categories

An auto-generated block utilizing the categories feature (tagged on the PDPs). Categories are mainly used to sort our products into the larger umbrella groups, also found in the nav menu, but this block has not been used much, at all.

Form 

At the moment, the only form we have is the contact form, but we can make more/new ones. This block is very simple, the form is made on the backend and chosen from a dropdown menu in this block.

Product: Single

This block essentially pulls a PDP directly on to the page. From this interface, you can customize the blend, use the visualizer, and buy samples

Product: Multiple

Displays multiple links to PDPs, like on the product pages (ex: "products/flake-flooring"), and also a link to a web landing page. Can hold a lot of products and scrolls sideways when the amount of product links exceeds the page width.

Team

Displays name, title, and image of team members. The images are generated by choosing the team (a category) and not the individual member. These teams are built on the back end. This block is mainly used on the customer service and leadership pages.

Testimonials

Testimonials are built as entries in the back end. You can insert a quote as a copy, assign a name and title to the testimonial, and also give it a title for internal use. Testimonials are chosen as entries for the block and can also be featured in front of background images that can be chosen separately (as shown below).

Media

Downloads

Able to create folders or groups that can then hold multiple files and pdfs that users are able to download. These files are referred to as resources on the back end and are primarily used with TDS/SDS and color guides but can also be used with assets, such as images.

Full Bleed

An image/video block that stretches the width of the screen that the user is using. Vertical dimensions can be tough to calculate because of this and images do not autoplay on mobile (yet).

Also if anyone is trying to use this block with a video, you have to insert a transparent png into the image asset in order to save and publish the page (I have a transparent png uploaded to the web library)

Gallery (mosaic)

A collection of image assets that can be blown up to full size by clicking on the thumbnail. The mosaic layout offers a random sort, order, and thumbnail size of the images.

Gallery (carousel)

A collection of image assets that can be blown up to full size by clicking on the thumbnail. The carousel layout offers one large thumbnail image and several smaller ones that can be scrolled through, from left to right (similar to the "Products: Multiple" carousel), and can be clicked on to replace the image in the large thumbnail.

Google Map

A full bleed block that can be used to display a Google Maps iframe. 

Image Comparison

A full width image block that allows users to compare too images with a sliding, vertical bar. There is an attached text field in the block that can display text/copy over the center of the image 
(note: the text is in place regardless of the position of the slider block)

Image Links (mosaic)

A block that allows image assets to be utilized as links to pages, entries, or URLs. The mosaic layout offers a random sort, order, and thumbnail size of the images.

Image Links (grid)

A block that allows image assets to be utilized as links to pages, entries, or URLs. The grid layout places them in a 3 column grid, which can not be changed with the current tools available. 

Affiliate Locator

A block that allows the full utilization of the Affiliate Locator Tool on any web page. There are several possibilities for customization, including replacing "Find Affiliates Near You" and "Enter your location above to discover Torginol affiliated in your area" with any text copy. Default coordinates can be set on the locator to show a specific location upon loading the page and adjustments to the default location radius, default affiliate type, default market, default product, and default services can all be made within the block.

Social Media Feed

Utilize image assets or icons to serve as links to any social media account (through URL). The "Torginol. Enhance your Environment" bar can not be turned off or edited, should probably be removed through Reusser.

Anchor 

Insert a URL-safe string of words or numbers into the anchor block to bring a user directly to that spot on the page. To create the link the works with this anchor block, you must copy the full URL of the page that the anchor is placed on, immediately followed by "#" and then whatever word or number you've chosen for the anchor block field (ex: torginol.com/test#anchor) This URL works, by the way.

Featured Tabs

A block that can display various assets, copies, or resources under 3 different formats. A background image can be attached to the block as well, but will only be shown in line with the height of the individual tab (ex: a long copy, taking up more vertical space, will show more of the background image than a thin download tab) 

Grid

A grid block that can hold icons, images, videos, size profiles, or plain text in a grid with adjustable columns (2-5 columns available to choose from). All images and icons in this grid can become buttons that link to other web pages or URLs. 

This block, as of 8/21, is the only way to portray a standalone image, using "Image w/Text". The image will shrink in size when more columns are selected, so a 2 column grid is the best way to get a large, standalone image. 

List w/Media

A block that displays a media asset alongside a list, with the ability to upload icons or assets to serve as bullet points in this list text field. 

Tabs

A block that can display various assets, copies, or resources under 3 different formats. The formats named in the tabs operate identically to the standalone blocks that are featured above. This block operates identically to the Featured Tab block with a smaller footprint and no option for a background image.

Text

Standard text block. Can choose between 8 font presets, adjust the size of the text, text alignment, and all standard text stylings (bold, italics, underline, etc.). Additionally, there are options for quote formatting, a full-width, horizontal dividing line, bullet point lists, hyperlinks, and indentation.
