5 New Market-Focused Collections
After months of development, we are excited to release our 5 new market-focused collections. These collections have been curated for and inspired by environments from each of our key markets.
Why did we create these new collections?
Our main motivators for creating these collections were:
- To explore color trends within each market and create blends that reflect the character of those environments.
- To examine the functions of these spaces and determine how product and color can support its environment.
- To provide a clear roadmap for selecting blends or products tailored to specific settings.
Each collection was created with a range of light to dark blends as well as warm to cool tones. Knowing that color affects mood, we created both bold accented blends as well as subtly colorful blends to accommodate different spaces.
Every environment also has functional requirements. For example, industrial projects might have different requirements than commercial projects. The priority of a manufacturing space might be to install a darker or bolder blend to hide dirt or heavy use while still looking exceptional while a Commercial space may want a brighter or trendier color.

Residential spaces may include garages, rec rooms, basements, laundry or mud rooms. Neutral colors are a popular choice for these environments. Gracious (FB-916), for instance, is an elevated neutral that hides dirt while maintaining a clean, modern look—perfect for garage spaces. The Residential Collection offers a range of blends designed to match your home’s aesthetic and enhance often-overlooked areas. Flake finishes not only boost functionality but also extend your home’s usable living space.
FB-916 Gracious
Commercial environments may include showrooms, restaurants, retail stores, hospitality, grocery, restrooms, or fitness centers. Using a lighter blend for a showroom allows the room to reflect light and illuminate any product display. In hospitality and retail spaces, Flake Flooring can be used seamlessly alongside other interior finishes without compromising design.
FB-4202 Alameda
Institutional spaces include office spaces, education, healthcare, airports, train stations, stadiums, arenas, locker rooms and cafeterias. This collection utilizes both subtle and bright colors. Choosing a blend with color can influence people’s mood or state of mind in a calming or cheerful way. This collection contains many blue and green accents to encourage calm. Blends like Water Lily, Sprout, or Lapis may be good choices for school hallways or healthcare spaces, where comfort and clarity matter most.
FB-4106 Shale
Industrial spaces can include manufacturing, pharmaceutical, laboratories, veterinary clinics, commercial kitchens, food processing plants, auto repair shops, and utility rooms. These spaces can often be dirty or need frequent cleaning. The neutral colors in this collection are designed to either hide dirt or make it more visible for easy cleaning. Blends like Sparrow, Cast Iron, or Black Ice effectively disguise dust and debris, while lighter blends like Opal or Anchorage enhance visability. For high traffic areas that need extra durability, explore our curated Quartz blends such as Fjord or Nebula.
FB-929 Current
Our Outdoor collection is recommended for patios, porches, balconies, walkways, pool decks, entryways, and courtyards. Our Outdoor Collection features UV+Flake, enhanced with Tinuvin®, a UV light absorber from BASF that helps prevent fading in outdoor applications. These blends are designed to complement natural surroundings and elevate outdoor living spaces. Just imagine walking along a sunlit pathway finished in Patio or Manor.
